If either of you have ever had any criminal proceedings filed against you and whether these are still pending and whether you need us to assist you in a pending criminal case. Also, if you are going to go to trial on your divorce case we would need to know if you were convicted for theft for example as it is a crime of dishonesty and may bear on whether the judge believes your side. We need to know the crime charged, the court pending in, and the crime convicted of:

If either of you signed a prenuptial or antenuptial agreement we need a copy of it:

If you want to change your will to disinherit your soon to be ex-spouse:

This is a separate fee and a separate service, please feel free to make an appointment.

If either of you have ever filed bankruptcy or whether you would like us to advise you on bankruptcy law before filing for divorce.

Is there any other legal matter you need advise on before filing divorce? Please so state here, and set an appointment to discuss this matter.

Other information you need to tell us about the particular legal matter you are here for today.

We realize that there is a lot of questions here, but the court requires a lot of basic information on forms we must file and you need to fill them out completely if they apply to you so that we may best serve your needs. Your failure to fill out these forms completely, or get us back the information timely will only delay your case. Your failure to give us plenty of contact numbers for you and advise us when you are going to move, or be out of town, can also jeopardize your case.

This divorce is a marriage of a period of years and it takes some time to dissolve a relationship of time.
